Mission Statement
The Mission of the  National Training and Fort Irwin 9/11 Memorial Foundation is to create a lasting memorial honoring the firefighters, police officers and military personnel who lost their lives to the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001 and the years since.

The Foundation maintains artifacts from all three sites of the 9/11 attacks, several of which are on display in the General Robert W. Cone National Training Center and 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment Heritage Center. The current display will be expanded to further explain the events of 9/11, the aftermath, and the changes to the training of America's Army as a direct result of the attacks.

The Foundation also serves as the official 501 (c)(3) charity supporting The General Robert W. Cone, NTC & 11th ACR Heritage Center, located on Fort Irwin, CA.

The Foundation is the caretaker of New York City Ladder 152, one of only three ladder trucks still in existence that saw service at Ground Zero after the attacks of 9/11.  Part of the mission of the foundation is to build a permanent public display for NYC Ladder 152 at Fort Irwin.
